D-dot 2015 New Flyer Xcelsior XD60 #1548

Here is the brand new bus of D-dot: The 2015 New Flyer Xcelsior XD60 #1548 awaiting at the red light for departure back to the Shoemaker Terminal after finishing up the route #53 Woodward. There are only ten of them and can only be used on three routes: #21 Grand River, #34 Gratiot & #53 Woodward; however, they can sometimes be used on some of the different routes such as #45 Seven Mile depending on the turn radius or something like that. These articulated units are the second units to be in the fleet after the Ex-SMART DDOT 1989 Neoplan AN460s--which were retired in 2002. Hopefully, they don't mess them up because these buses are expensive! I'll get an onboard recording of them next time as I wasn't able to ride on it...
